Here is the block i did for my ward. i think it turned out really cute. i punched the stars on the doodle buy design glitter paper and the star on this example i bought at Heartland Paper for .25 ea. For my ward i bent my own with jewerly wire. The silver sparkle tulle was the most expensive part of it a spool with 25 yards was 4.29 but i used a coupon at roberts and got it at half price. The block is a 2X4 cut to 8". The BE was foam stamps I already had. This was really fast and easy. I did them from start to finish in probally 2-3 hours.

READY FOR SUMMER
BRITTANY HAS DECIDED HER MOM NEEDS TO STOP SCRAPBOOKING. THE NEIGHBORS ARE DRIVING BY THINKING SHES CRAZY AS I AM SNAPPIN PICTURES. We really liked this one.
Notice the patch of grass showing through the 5 feet of snow. Maybe spring is getting close. I am feeling the need to run my hands through the dirt.
I am really excited about getting together on FRIDAY!!!!!!

Will you be my Valentine?
I made this wonderful valentine for Dan and I think it should be framed or mass produced or something. This scroll is actually just the letter {s} in the font: tia doodle frames! I would personally like to thank Krista and all of her font fabulousness! Love Liz

I entered my first contest!!!
Hello Grills...I am so excited! I just entered the creating keepsakes scrapbooker of the year contest. The prize is $1500, and $1700 worth of product! I know the likelyhood isn't very great that I will win, but it was worth a shot! Krista wanted me to post my pages that I entered, so here you go! This challenge was about scrapbooking a picture I felt was extraordinare.
This is one of the 4 favorite pages I had to submit.

Contest pages
This layout had to use an inventive technique...so I used crackle paint.
This layout had to use 3 or more photos.
This layout is supposed to convey emotion with the colors I used.
I had to submit a project that used scrapbooking skills, but wasn't a layout so I used my purse I painted.
I had to enter 4 pages that were my favorite, this is one of them.
I had to journal my passion with this layout.

Miss Monica
This is the layout I am going to enter for the category of a photo that I think is particularly great. What do you think? It didn't photo quite as well as I would have liked.

Chloe is ready to go camping at the Dunes!
This is her latest drawing of Dan's truck and the trailer. She has drawn her sleeping bag in the trailer, the hitch of the truck and the bulbous eyes on the front of the truck are actually the mirrors!

I can't believe that Seth is almost 2! He and Chloe stripped down this morning and imagined that they were swimming in a pool. Boy do they miss summer!
